Land-based Care Activity

During this land-based care activity, locate yourself in relationship to the land while acknowledging they are ancestral lands of the Original Peoples that continue to be dispossessed to the benefit of all settlers. Consider how you can care for the land which sustains you.

Open your senses and perceptions to touch a tree, listen to a bird, smell the air… Allow these sensations and perceptions to become a seed for reflection, creativity, and care. Allow the land to “once again become the pedagogy.”^2(footnote)
