The Ontario-based legal rights advocacy group Respecting Rights created plain language “stop light” cards to teach people about the importance of accessible, plain language. The cards also serve a practical function. The red card says “Stop. Please use plain language.” The yellow card says, “Please slow down.” And the green card says “Your pace is just fine. Please continue!”
